In the early days, when people were dying due to lack of blood, the patient had to be shifted to Pune for blood, that time doctors, social workers of the city came together and established a blood bank in 1998. It is founded on motto, service to society at" no profit no loss " basis & committed to provide safest blood to patients in Ahmednagar City and District for almost 24 years. It has huge efforts to implementing concept of blood donation in rural areas. To upgrade advance technology Jankalyan conduct several training programmes, workshops, seminars and trainings for laboratory technicians and other staff. This, with the intention to create awareness about the latest transfusion medicine It also keens enough to maintain quality for detection of TTI.

 

It is located at Gadgil patangan,Nalegaon with built-up area of about 3855 sq ft. It is working for 365 days 24 hours in order to provide the safe blood and blood components to needy patients and creating awareness about the latest development in blood transfusion as well as voluntary blood donation movement. Apart from Blood collection & distribution JRPN conducts several social activities to motivate voluntary Blood donation like Hb detection camp & motivation camps for women. Several workshops & felicitation programmes for blood donors & camp organizer.
